What a day. 20+ legal waldos and 31 perch from the same holes. No small fish. 1 walleye was 24 1/2" and FAT.
Hated to leave but wanted to see the truck and excavator pulled out of the lake. They got them both out and no one was hurt. Truck was trashed. Looks like they had some fun before they went in by all the donut tracks.

What time did they pull the truck out? I totally missed it. Saw some flashing lights there when i left at 12:20.

My son Chris (caddis) had a stroke yesterday. He is ok but very weak. I have to get him out ice fishing soon. To much work not enough play. 25 yrs old. that is screwed up.

The truck was about 4pm. Had to be 100 people out there until the police made everyone who wasn't helping leave.

Congrats to everyone on a great day.
Hunt, glad ya finally broke the waldo curse.

I made it down on sat morning with the intent of catching some waldo's. was a long walk out to the spot i had chosen. marked alot of fish but they just wouldn't commit to anything. threw everything i had in my bag of tricks but nothing worked, lol. iced only one keeper walleye but still had a great time. you guys have an amazing lake and i will be back some day to fish it again.

Spent the day with my son and grandson on the south shore. Eyes were non stop until about 1 pm. Grandson's first time on the ice, was like killing a monster buck on his first hunt. Uhh, he wants to go again

What a weekend. Saturday took two limits of eyes and 93 perch off the ice. Today took 2 more limits and 27 jumbos off. Caught over 20 keepers that were 18-20". One weekend ill never forget!!!

Also I found an Ice Armor mitten coming off Constantia. It is in good shape still. If you would like it let me know hopefully we can meet up soon

Man, what a day for everyone- About the same as previous reports, Myself and a buddy fished north of Dunhams away fro the crowds- Started slow, but at 10 all hell broke loose between eyes and perch, have never had it where every other drop was a perch or eye, they seemed to cling together today- Managed a nice limit of eyes, dumped 6+ and lost a monsta at the hole, couldn't get her up the 6" hole and she snapped me off

- also ended up with 21 jumbos and a huge burby! Buddy did about the same- Ice was 9" solid, this rain and cold will def pack that sticky wet snow down hopefully!

I did see about 30-40 snowmobiles i would guess, sitting over near the beach. I was just assuming they were hanging out.

I was more trying to get out of there before the game warden who was there asked me for my license. I had forgotten it at home this morning.

What a awesome weekend out on oneida! Fished from 3:00-5:00 sat evening and smashed the eyes!! Did 28 keepers in 2 hours and then was treated to an amazing sunset. Today fished from 10-1 and then came back out after lunch and fished from 3-5. Today's total was 38 keepers with a dozen shorts and countless more dropped and missed!! What a bite this weekend! All eyes were caught in 25 fow. The majority of the walleyes I got were on the bare jig to! They were super aggressive! Great to see all the good reports!!
