parking at big bay ......... there are two spots to park. Big Bay marina is out more towards the lake its on camic road. off of route37.   Kangaroo mini storage is on keller road and gives you access to the back of the bay.
Ice conditions are very good. as the weeds on the west end of the bay are pretty much nonexistant. there are some good weeds out towards the center..  there is a christmas tree marking a gas hole. steer clear of that.
stop by or give us a call we'd be more then happy to help you out

Hello all.  I've been a lurker for years, figured I didn't have much to add to what was being said.  I know a few of you guys already.  Gotta say, you are great bunch, and I love reading all the posts.  If I ever get enough wisdom to share, or time enough to use it I will post more.  For now I wanted to share a pic of my son Connor with a 29" pickerel, 5 3/4 lbs.  He picked the lure, picked the spot on the Navionics map, guided us there, used the Vex to spot him and dabbled him up for a strike, set the hook and got his head through the hole.  All I did was hook a finger under a gill and drag him out.  He's only 5, but watch out Snagger, he's after your reputation already!
Tight lines everyone.

Awesome job Connor!  Love to hear stories about passing the addiction on

Pretty good crack running from godfreys to out in front of Cleveland. That one will get ugly, heaving some already. It intersects with another one that goes out towards 123.

Even someone from PA could gather enough info on reports just on this page to get a limit of eyes!!! C'mon man ;D 2 posts and they know what info to give? Sounds fishy to me :o

So the guy goes out the ice and has a great day. Decides to post how great a time he had and add a little info on the ice conditions.
Why would anyone poke fun at someone for doing just that? Because he just joined the site and has 2 post? I'm sure it must be that a whole 500 post makes someone a expert.
Seems kinda dumb to me.
Thanks Chazzbah for attempting to be helpful.

just got back from my maiden voyage on my sled. I sold my indy lite this fall, and picked up a 95 xlt special. runs great, and has 3 times the power if i get in a jam. the only reason i sold the indy lite was, i crossed a crack last year that was open 15' :o. just made it across. thought i was going for a swim. I didn't ride the rest of the year.   Sully...

Had a great day, the fish bit the entire time I was there. Seemed like the harder the wind blew, the more they bit. Ended up with 48 'eyes!! 30 shorties, 15 nice keepers that went back down the hole, and the 3 that I kept. Few perch along the way as well. Hope everyone else did well too!!!
