Rode the BMW to work today. :-\ Ice is not coming anytime soon.

I think this year is very similar to last year. Hopefully it gets cold in a few weeks like last year, then stays cold through February. :tipup:

Agreed Until it gets cold I'll have to make do with Football, Muzzleloading and Shotgun deer season to make do.

Yup, lots of hunting yet to do before getting on the ice. Heading to your home state to get some exercise in the deer woods. Probably walk five miles a day and see nothing but moose and red squirrels. :P

I Plan on going through the gear this weekend, probably start up the auger. Should check the snow blower also.

Snow blower good Idea..Think I'll put that on my list. Ordered a couple more tip ups this week. Was into Big Bear he'll have bait and he's not sure on how much Ice fishing gear he'll have this year. I'll get as much stuff as I can to support his business but need to get traps prepped early and couldn't find them anywhere this early. Had to go to the web. Have them by Wednesday next week. Enjoy the Big Blow this weekend and enjoy the warmth. Don't have to shovel this! ;D

Agreed! lots of temps below freezing at night but the day temps are way above freezing for the most part. If anything, this snow and sleet tonight will help cool our waters even more.
