Like a hunting dog, I fish better when I'm hungry so usually eat towards the end of the day. Then all mentioned is fine with me. Do like brats though...

I always have a glazed donut or two with my coffee when it gets slow. After an hour or two of being slow I go in. I've never bridged the gap from the morning bite to the evening bite to feel the need to cook nor do I have the resources to cook some of the meals that you guys have. The delivery service sounds awesome. I think if I did take something out it would most likely be chilli I made the day before in a thermos.

My little grill is always on the sled. Standard fare is grilled Polska Kielbasa smothered in Sweet Baby Ray's bbq suace. The smoke wafting across the ice drives the fishing neighbors nuts! Usually bring out 4lbs. so I can share.

BBQ Ribs simply seasoned with seasoning salt and garlic powder, Elk Steak, or the best thing ever beer butt chicken.

On Wednesday I grilled some pork tenderloin that marinated all day, some foil potatoes and onions, and a big loaf of french bread, pre-buttered.
Had the tunes goin', the beer flowin', the ice was groanin' and it was lightly snowin'.

Prime Rib Steak cooked over charcoal briquettes, baked potatoe with sour cream and a nice cold beer( if you have a DD) Pretty much nothing beats a meal cooked outdoors. The best eats I've ever had have come on hunting or fishing trips.

Any type of jerky. Snickers bars too-fuel to burn! Some Champange (High Life), Old Style, or PBR's to wash it down! Keep it simple. I always laugh at the "Girlie" setups guys have w/ a whole kitchen out on the ice! Dude, it's fishing, not Iron Chef!

We make some sausage from our venison every year. That, a single burner coleman and a tin pan that can be thrown away when you get home is all you need for a good lunch.

I don't hunt...so don't have a supply of venny (but enjoy it once-in-awhile). I usually stick w/ a sandwich and some tomato soup in a thermos w/ a shot of franks red hot mixed in

. Somtimes i'll put a hot dog in the thermos w/ the soup (sounds weird...but tastes really good cooked in the soup).

i bring out sea scallops jumbo shrimp the mandatory sausage(everything is better in a bun) but i also get duck cob smoked bacon and lots of brown liquor. three of us are professional chefs, we eat well

Me and my buddies created the "SQUARE-ETO". Its eggs, bacon or venison, cheese all wrapped in a large tortilla the secrete is to fold the tortilla insted of rolling to evenly cook it!!!!

They also work while in the duck blind too!!!

venison chili.. stew..

and if a bunch of us buddies are going out... the night b4 i cut some steaks into strips... marinate them with peppers,garlic, onions, and some lousianna spice(creole seasoning) and whatever liquid i think tastes best that day.... cooked on the coleman and then served with some shredded cheese on a hoaggie bun..

hot coffee and whatever shot feels right that day...lol
