Get yourself the new In-Fisherman cookbook that just came out or go to In-Fisherman's website and search for recipes. They have a couple very good chowder recipes that work well with walleyes or perch or catfish.
Thanks and will try that.
I've never made it, but my grandma would. She says that all she does is switch up the clam for fish in her clam chowder. She will not disclose her recipes...she says it's her legacy to pass. But, she did say she'll do it with both her New England and Manhattan recipes, depending on what type of fish she's using. I don't know if this helps at all, but thought I would add. And having eaten both, they're pretty tasty. That In-Fisherman site does have a lot of good recipes.
