i always bring a loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter. its so easy and i usally just leave the peanut butter in my pack at all times. that, beef jerky, and pop tarts usually get me through.

Venison backstrap filets, seasoned, and stuck on a fork right off the grill-

I travel light! Peanut butter and jelly.....coffee.....a couple of apples. Gets me through the day no problem. I do have a camp stove for perking fresh coffee and heating up water for cocao for the litlle guy though.

popcorn just use the pot to cook soup in, but make sure you have a lid. little bit of oil and the kids like shaking the pot and hearing it all pop.

Homade soup,venison steak,hot dogs,sandwichs,beer,and of course anything pickled,my friend gave me some pickled leeks and my loving wife of 18 years banashed them from the house forever.I dont get it.Hey PYROZUKI maybe you should put a fire extingisher in your shack just in case.

I have yet to get a shack, but the day I do, I'll keep a window out! The wife told me that when I get a shack, I should get a set (his and her's)!

I too can't eat pickled leeks at home, what the hell?

In the morning our crew cooks up sausage and eggs on a bagel. For lunch we usually cook hot dogs and chili with some venison stew and usually some cold cut sandwiches to eat in between. Oh yeah, don't forget water to stay hydrated and a thermos of hot coffee or hot chocolate.

Jalapeno and Cheddar venison stick made right down the road at Jerome Country Market and a thermos of coffee and a bottle of A&W rootbeer just in case!
