Title: Good day on the ice!

Well went to Carlton yesterday and struck out. So today went to the private lake I am lucky enough to fish. Caught alot of nice 7-9 gills and 1 big 10" gill(which was released). Took my 71 yr old dad and he had a ball. It amazing how the tables have turned. Now its like hes the kid and I'm the dad!. great day. One that I will remember for a long time.

Way to go Matt! I can't think of any better way to spend time with a father. Looks like you had him set up really well in the hut and with a heater. Enjoy the fish fry with the family too!

Fish fry is tomorrow night! I've got the Andys yellow already to go. The Clam bigfoot we were in today had lots of room and was thermal so it didn't take much heat to keep it warm. I was hopeing to get out again with him next weekend but it looks like the weather may be killing the good ice we have :'(
