anybody used the showdown 5.6, single or dual beam. really thinking about getting one for this upcoming season. any reviews would be much appreciated.

The 5.6 is the same generic "showdown" unit, with a software upgrade, discussed in several threads the last couple of years regarding showdowns. Try the search function, you will likely get several hits. I like the units, they are dependable and easy to understand. Check out the showdown thread on this page for a bit more info.
