Tobin Lake Flats

Does anyone know if you can get out on the flats?

I have never been there. I know where Tobin lake is but where do you access the ice to go to the flats?

Please help.

At village of Tobin lake just before town is the rusty hook cabins gas and convenience store. Take that grid east a few miles. It comes to a T. Take the grid north bout a mile then it turns back east. Head straight east to the flats.

Just realised I made a mistake. It's not a t intersection east of rusty hook. It's a yield sign.

Can you drive around on the ice still?
Get outside.  It does a body and mind good!

When I was there 1 week ago a road was plowed out there but you can’t drive anywhere off the road with a truck too much snow I recommend taking sleds if you have any

I was on there yesterday in that nasty wind there is a road plowed around the first set of shacks and then out to river but if your shack is off the road I suggest taking a sled as you won’t make it anywhere off the toad with a truck lots of drifts out there cause of yesterday’s wind
