What time of day or night do you find to be most productive for brown trout?

Don't know if it is always or not but one day a friend of mine and I were catching Rainbows all day. Right at 3:30 all we could catch were Browns. Same area and holes as before. One after another.

Daytime is best for me, in fact I've never caught a brown at night. The latest brown I caught was 9 lb 6 oz and I caught him through the ice at noon on a hot sunny day.
