yes they still get the gills in water under 10ft works real great in the weed pockets
they are not are old as i am,and i still catch fish,i think??

Here in New Hampshire, as of last year, lead jigs were banned so we had to throw out all our old jigs and replace them with tin or tungsten.

I luv the WHITES and PINKS.
GREAT GILL and AFTER DARK CALICO KILLERS.
Ive caught dozens of bullheads threw the ice on the WHITE also.

your are right,but the tail on turners move in the water unlike the finkie
and like you i use the rats also
i have better luck with the bibett in red /green for crappies in the ice season
and orange/brown tubes in  open season

      HI b RiverRat,
Love your post. What size line do you fish  them with?? My lightest is 4lb test. Had 2lb but jerked too hard and broke line every time. Thanks.
