Thanks guys, it was a blast. Could figure out what was holding her back at the hole - head and gills were in the hole - if Jimmy hadn't been there to reach down and pull her through, not sure I would have landed it. Might be the last 6" hole I ever drill!

That sled of Release’s is the fastest 550 fan cooled sled I’ve ever rode... it rips for an Ol Buzzard sled!!! 😁

Only if I could be 20 years younger again!!😁 a friend of mine, has a son with a motocross quad sitting in his garage one day. I spot a helmet on the bench. One good kick of the kick starter and I was shredding. 5 quick laps and I put it away.... before I got hurt... 😜 what a blast!!!😎

fished (wasted my time) the Beach this morning......there's 4 hrs of my life I can never get back

.....1 burbot and 2 short eyes.......hope other guys did well......machines were out (not me) including wheelers.....they are tearing up the access......I left at 10:30 and it was still ok but quite a few machines were still out and will make it worse when they come in.....not saying it isn't accessable by walkers but wear rubber boots.......ice is fine......although I did notice that drilling thru 18" is getting easier......ice is starting to get weaker....imho.......s hould be fine thru the weekend but extended forecast looks bleek...........side note: water is getting murkier and discolored from runoff....this is not intended to sway anybody from going out just my observations.....be safe everyone

I got out yesterday morning in big bay. I couldn't catch a cold !! 4 sunnies, and 1 crappie. Everyone around me was smashing them. Going in the a.m. I will post when I return.
As far as ice conditions: We lost alot of ice. About 6", and the 12 to 14" we have left is still good, but like Scout said, it's a little softer cuttting. there was also a current twards the channel. With the rain we got today, it can't be any better. There was also alot of open holes, and gas pockets. So if you go out, watch where you are walking. Some of those holes will swallow you up !! Sully...
