Been fishing out of Williams beach the ice is fantastic and the fishing is pretty good too! Still learning to use my new Marcum LX6s wow what a upgrade from my old Marcum VX1-P. Tight lines everyone!

I drove the north shore around midday. Dead out there so either everyone went home early or not many out.

I hit the last hour of daylight. Lots of lookers, only a few takers. Still managed a limit.

Fished Lewis Point today. 12" of ice where we were. Lots of shorts and some perch. Lost my box of lures on the ice somewhere. Anyone find it, send me a pm.

Took a little trip west and put a small hurting on the perch and gills, morning bite sucked but between noon and when I left at 430 the bite was great. Ended up with 36 perch over 9" and a dozen gills

Today on the ice after I pulled in my limit I started playing with the new slab rap I got. I really don't have the patience for them. I did put one short up with it. Something different. Don't think I'll be stocking up on them like I did the lindy darter and the bigger ripping raps.

Hmmm... looks like I might have to make a trip up on my 31 day vacation I have coming up starting the 12th.... hmmm leave for key largo for 8 days the 19th and then out to Arizona on the 30th for 7 days.... gonna be a tight squeeze

Had a decent late morning perch bite today that petered out by 1:00 pm.
Check out this oddball 9 stripe striper that I know Fred fillet&release will like.
