next week is calling for 40's all week long. Might get to float the boat in February this year if this keeps up, haven't done that in a while.

I doubt anyone will be fishing out of a boat on Oneida Lake during February.  Even with the mild temperatures it will not be enough to melt the ice.  Mother Nature will likely mess it all up, no safe ice and yet no open water to fish Oneida.
I am hopeful we will have safe ice at the East end of Oneida until the end of February.  Remember snow insolates the ice from both freezing better and thawing out, unless we get a lot of rain it is not likely the ice will deteriorate on Oneida before the end of Feb.  It was  the heavy rain and 50 degree temperatures that rotten the ice back in January.

Alright guys I have a morning window to fish tomorrow in town for a meeting, where's best to access the ice? Tomorrow morning specifically. Just looking for decent ice I know it's not necessarily ideal conditions.
