I was on the ice after work Thursday, the snow all melts and ponds of 2-3" deep water everywhere at sandbar.
All the holes are draining like toilets.

Dang! any chance you know what kings bay/ allens bay ice looks like? we are headed there tomorrow.
Load it, Drive it, Park it
Bait it, Jig it, Hook it
Catch it, Clean it, Cook it
Simply put just get out/ and do it

I'd assume if ponding at sandbar, then this is indicative of everywhere in our region, especially today near 60F.

St. Albans had no water on the ice and was smooth sailing. There was some holes over 20" though, so don't rive wheelers in the dark. After the single digit Sunday night and teens all next week, the ice will stay solid for a couple more weeks.

There are holes about 2x4’ repeat some major holes that can swallow a person!
