looks like you got a nice trout (pool) pond there :P
-
I normally don't fish that close to the shoreline. Try out further.
-
Move to your right about 10 feet .... looks like there might be some structure !! :o ;) :D
-
I was fishing the drop off thats why I so close to the shore maybe there's a dead zone along the shelf. And I did fish that structure to the right earlier in the day
-
Would that be Ladder Lake by any chance ;D.
-
Gator-bait......you got it bad man ;D

Maybe I'll change baits and try for some smelt tonight. I got to go get the latern out of car first :flex:  Good fishing all GaToRrrr

This is good gator bait! ;D I have to agree with the above comment also, move closer to the structure possibly.
-

-

ROFLMFAO...Hey Gator, try casting. My son swears it works better than dropping the hook down the hole. :roflmao:
When I got my AquaVIew it was right at ice out so I couldn't go out and try it out. I put my wife's Beta in the bathtub and turned all the lights out and watched that fish swim back and forth in the tub. She was kinda peaved when she figured oiut what I was doing until she saw it herself and she almose laughed herself to death...

Looks like you got yourself a hotspot. What kind of fish you got in there.Did you catch anything? lol
-
I never have much luck either in man-made impoundments. Next summer, leave the chlorine out and you will have some weedbeds to fish over next winter.
-
Remember......NO peeing in the lake!!! :pinch: House rules! :woot:
-
If you can't get a bite over by that structure , try going a little deeper towards the middle of that pond . Usually on that type of pond , the middle is the deepest.

Lone Wolf took your advice and moved into some structure like they say on TV you should always fish in some structure. So I set up the shanty in some structure and going to wait them out what do you think! 8) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v235/Gator-Bait/MVC-294F.jpg)

Gator, i found out that thars no fish in them shallow above ground lakes years ago. I 've done better with the seement deeper ponds. Heck some are even 12 or 13 feet deep. Did land a yellow bikini bottom last year. It was suspended near the slide area at night. It might have been crusing the banks looking for food. I caught it on a BARE mooska jig.
I'll set em up, you guys do the punch lines.
-
Gator your gonna ruin your auger blades drilling in that new "structure" spot ;) ;)
-
I tried sharpping them but decided to use chainsaw to cut a long slot so i could spear also when things pick up on the pike
