barrel swivel on buckshot lure?
« on: Dec 18, 2017, 06:24 PM »
are you guys using swivels when jigging with buckshot rattle spoons?  how about with flutter spoons??

was using a slender spoon tied directly on but didn't think I was getting very good action from it.

if using swivels or snap swivels, what color and size?  using 1/4oz buckshots

thanks

SPRO makes a super small 'Power Swivel', size 10 with a 35 lb. test rating, if you are worried about line twist
Now is the time for all good men and women to engage in the sport of ice fishing

Buckshots don't really do much, but fish like to bite them.

Some spoons are meant to not be used with swivels attached to, they will spin instead of shimmy.

Some spoons will shimmy better with a swivel.

Spro Power Swivels are my first pick.  Size 10 or 8.  Black nickel is awesome.
