Nice place to stay??
« on: Feb 23, 2015, 04:42 PM »

Does anyone have a favorite place to stay in Northeast SD?  We like a small private business that is clean with a good bed... the bigger chain motels are ok but out in the rural areas we like to support small business that does a good job.  We will be traveling and plan to fish several days in SD on this trip.
Thank you for any suggestions.

Try the Blue Wing Lodge, across the highway from the RDO dealership in Webster.  They just opened this winter and a group of six of us stayed there for four days in January.  It has everything you need.  Clean and newly renovated and plenty of parking.  Only draw back is they do not have their fish cleaning station completed yet, but they leave cutting boards and newspapers so you can clean fish at the kitchen table.

Lynn Lake Lodge northwest of Webster.  Paul and Karen are super nice people.  Fish cleaning house and everything you need in the cabins.  Very clean and friendly 605-345-4564

Lynn Lake Lodge is a great place to stay, have been staying there for the last 10yrs. Paul&karen are great people&run a nice clean place. They have an indoor heated cleaning house along with a tackle shop. We are already planning our trip up there for next year..
