Milwaukee Mud Mixer
« on: Sep 10, 2017, 02:41 PM »
The Milwaukee Mud Mixer #2810-20 @ $199 (Bare Tool) looks like it might handle a 10" auger bit.
0-550 rpm and 6lb weight (I'm sure without the battery) seems right. Wonder what the torque output is???

The 1200in/lb brushless drill handles a 10in nils without the gear box no problem.

Curious if your gaining much? It doesn't say what the rpm s are, and mud mixers need more torque than horse power with ice shavers and chpipers just needing rotations.  That drill looks heavy too, but I'm interested.  My day job I install tile, use my dewalt for 2/3 bucket mix of thinset but not full buckets or concrete. This drill is tempting , but I think I'm stuck with dewalt for now

550 RPM.
Bigger gear box.
Motor is bigger.
Way nicer side handle that's adjustable.
Advertised weight 6 lbs, but will weigh one when I get them in.
Cons, doesn't have a keyless chuck but may have a way better option available.
I should have one in the next couple of days and can give you more info.
The 2704-20 and 2703-20 tool with side handle (no battery) on scale weight 4#.
