Checked out 5 spots in Central VT today. Here are the findings. Woodbury Lake (Saben Pond): 4 1/2 to 5 inches of ice about 30 feet off shore. Ice kinda sketchy looking. Lake Mirror (#10): 8 1/2 inches of ice about 30 feet out. Footpath from access to ice. Ice looks nice. Been some activity. Nelson Pond: Cut a path from plowed access to ice with my snowshoes. 8 1/2 to 9 inches about 30 feet out. Few sketchy looking spots but overall not bad looking. No sign of activity. Greenwood Lake: Still some open water at launch. Didn't venture out. Curtis pond: Shore ice a little sketchy. 11 1/2 to 12 inches about 30 feet out. Several foot trails and snowmobile tracks on ice. 1 tent style shanty. I didn't dunk a line today due to todays schedule. But next weekend.......
