FYI Tackle Toms has new owners,I don't know how they will be on ice fishing supplies. Our long range weather forecast is for normal precip. and warmer than normal temps. Good Luck on your trip, it would be nice to have a winter with good ice and less slush and deep snow.

Definitely ready to get up there again. I decided that this place is one that I must go to at least once a year. I don’t have the patience like you guys do. Hut Bomber  and I had a great time last year with lots of pigs through the ice.

Updated email went out yesterday, check your inbox's. Only a couple people changes in the house. Sounds like the ice is getting going but hopefully the snow will stay at bay for a little longer to let it get thicker.

New emails out. With the recent deep snow & slush monster showing up, a change of date might be in order.

Ok no new email yet but you'll see them next week. Got the old reservation in the works for a refund thru the insurance. Good thing we purchased it. They won't refund for slushy conditions on the ice but will for a messed up hip if your Dr. Signs off. So that being said we're good to go. New dates been booked for February 20-24th let's hope for better ice conditions and health

Yep I 80 is terrible. There wasn't even snow predicted yesterday and something came in and the roads have been closed between Laramie and Rock Springs since last night. The biggest ice Derby is today in Saratoga and all of I 80 is closed. We were gonna go but can't get out

I do not envy anyone that has to drive that stretch from Evanston to Laramie. My dad grew up in Rock springs and went to school in Laramie, he used to tell me horror stories of how that drive was back in the late 60's in the cars they drove. Not trucks, full steel CARS!! I can only fathom it  :cookoo:  :cookoo:

I have driven it twice since New years day over goose hunting near Torrington WY. I usually take an exit just past Sinclair wy. and stay away from Elk Mountain, good wide 2 lane highway to I-25 and they keep the plows running Had pretty slick roads from Medicine Bow back to I-90 Tuesday but okay in 4X4.
