Operation Reboot Outdoors Fishing Derby

At great pond in Aurora.  Being a slightly disabled Vet I am kind of partial to the cause.

This is a great derby, good fun, mix of fish. Got a huge sucker/fall fish one year.

Not sure I can make it but I went the their site and bought a couple raffle tickets. Looks like a great cause. Thanks for posting.
I'm also a big fan of Travis Mills and his work (and he's funny as hell to talk to).

He gave a presentation at my company's annual client conference a few years back.  Was a great talk.  Everyone was given a copy of his book.

He's way more fun "off the record". lol
More importantly, he has done so much for others. Helluva great human being.

The long lake derby is definitely a much bigger event.  Of course, there is always the week after and the water/ice will still be there.  I called yesterday and they have 4 to 5 inches of ice and my friends and I are going to give it a try Wednesday.  Last season we fished it a lot since there was a shortage of good ice.
