Moosehead Ice Conditions
« on: Dec 09, 2018, 12:52 PM »
Been keeping up with the Moosehead ice cams lately, most bays are locked and it looks like from Moose island down the lakes frozen solid but not out in front of the birches. Anybody know what its like in the Beaver cove/Lily Bay area? Hoping to make a trip there for the first of the year and things are looking promising early on. Would love to fish Sebago but doesn't look like we are going to get blessed with early ice like less year during my school break.

The Crazy Moose Fabrics camera is only 1/2 mile east of Black Point in Beaver Cove, the view is SW toward Squaw Mountain. If you look on Google Maps it's the most northerly/westerly permanent dock on the north shore of BC. It's been locked up in front of that camera for several days.
