Says right in the rules that the fish can not be frozen. Lonewolf will DQ it.

I Know it says that the fish can not be frozen..... but in Jig-A-whoppers defense it was more than 20 below zero with the wind...  that will freeze any fish in a matter of minutes maybe shorter than that......

JAW has not even got to fish his main lake yet so even if it is DQ'd he will just post another that is the same size or bigger.

I wish i still had the time to be a top runner at any time in the perch cat like i used to be.  Look in the past tourneys and history will show that he is one of the top perchers here.  It was either him or jazzII that ended my chances at a three peet in the perch cat.

nice looking perch JAW.  maybe you me and jazz can get together and sweep the perch cat this year.

I have had fish freeze instantly when you pull them out of the hole... but they don't look like that. That fish was froze for a wile before the picture was taken, maybe even all day (or more).

I was out this past weekend and a fish froze solid on the ice in under two minutes .. with the wind chill it was -12. Leaving your entry until the end of the day to take pics is a bad idea. Take the pics while the fish is fresh and then continue fishing.

this is one of the main reasons I always carry my icewell, works great toss the fish in and keep fishing, when the bite slows take your tourny pics

I checked bigbucky1's brown and it is definitely a rainbow. I removed it from the leaders board as there is a larger rainbow already. It's still in the drawings. The brown trout went back to Icebound.

If anyone notices anything I may miss post it here or just contact me. These tourneys are time consuming and I may miss things.  ;)

Yes that girl pulled hard especially on 2lb test when fishing for gills.  Took about 10 mins to get her to the hole and had to get my bro to help get her out.  It does not matter to me what you class it as cause it was a blast to catch and will hopefully get to catch another cause that one had some nice fillets in it.

SUper,

I knew that a big perch was comming soon from you just because of the area you were fishing of that lake.  I got two winners from there a few years ago and not been back since...  I bet somebody could win the perch cat every year from there if they fished it hard enough.

I got a big pick alomst in the same spot that you got yours also.

Was there trout in the belly of that pick?

Ice Junky, I love that pic of the pumpkinseed, with the tape measure right next to the hole.
My kids tried that last weekend and guess where the tape measure ended up? ::)

Lots of fish being posted which is good for the number of entrants this year, but lets cut LoneWolf a break...

7 b.)Only post entries that can challenge the leaders board. Any "short " entries can be posted in the "short" entries area to qualify for the weekly drawing.

This way he doesn't have to go through these catagories measuring, moving, deleting, all these posts.  Oh - as a friendly reminder in the anything catagory, there isn't a 1st 2nd and 3rd for each species posted, just a 1st, and then random drawing at the end of the year for all the firsts.

So lets keep our eyes on the leaderboard updates and other fish in the catagory we'd like to post in to make sure our posts end up in the right spot, so Lonewolf has some time to wet a line this ice fishing season!  :D

and what if you have a fish that makes the board but by the time the board is updated your fish is knocked off? should you repost it in the short area? (not me but i know someone that happened to)
