Think ice season is done

Where do you think Maryland ice season stands as of right now I don't see it lasting much longer

Everything I read is doom and gloom.  I'm going to give it a shot Saturday.  I hate to drive 2 hours one way and not fish, but I need to try. 

Any info would be much appreciated.

I'm hoping like you that the ice will hold just two more days.  Going to make the drive and take my chances.  I'm hoping the old stand by areas at DCL will have sufficient ice for just one good trip.  Tearing up local fish but nothing beats jumbos and eyes!  2 .5 hrs on the road to check ice....  I can feel ice fishing flu coming on, very sick!

I usually catch a bunch out of the big and little pool.  My boy and I will be headed to GG tomorrow  if we find safe ice I will drop a message out.  It is usually the first to freeze and last to thaw.  Hoping it is still safe!  If anyone reading this knows please comment. Thanks Much!

Just got off the ice wind was blowing like crazy. We managed one walleye. Cut 9" of ice and it was growing.  Shockingly thick on GG. Wet drifts getting on.  Good luck.
