Portage/Froid/Eagle

Looking for ice updates for Portage, St Froid and Eagle. I know theres not a ton of snow up there, so i was hoping i could get by on the quad with some chains.

Any areas of note to fish on Portage for trout or salmon? Ill be staying there on the south end, and doing some cusk fishing on Froid or Eagle during my stay as well.

Im new to the area to ice fishing.

Any help would be appreciated!!

I was on St. Froid Saturday, but we didn't travel very far on the lake.  About a foot of ice with a few inches of snow/slush on top.  No real snow in the forecast this week.  I've never owned an ATV, but it would seem like it would work.
