I think they got smaller from last year. Between the two of us approximately 250 probably caught to find 25 to put a filet knife too. Bite was non stop. Switched to plastics didn't want to waste my waxworms. Boot in picture is 14". Need a good predator fish in there to thin the herds

Guessing the only predators in that lake are the browns like the one by your boot.  😜

Yeah you're killing the only predator in the lake.  its a heck of a hike to that dam though-

I think pike or smallies would do a better job of it. With all the food source in there you wondering why the brown would hit a bluegill jig.  Needed one for the smoker

Hey those browns eat well!  Sucks the perch just don't seem to grow in there anymore

Me and a buddy fished it Friday - took us a minute to find them, but caught about 60 in the last hour and a half we were there. Never caught a fish over 7”.  CPW needs to dump in some pike, Smallmouth, lakers, etc. to thin the herd. It’s definitely getting worse, not better…

Yea, Im not sure what the perch are eating up there. They were attacking anything and everything almost like they were starving.

Nice work.  I'd help with the population control if I didn't hate filleting 7-8" perch so much....ugh.
