One nice one (1/7/22)

We were supposed to fish way North in ND this weekend, but our trip was canceled…so we fished closer to home.  Only landed slimers this morning, changed spots, and found this beauty.  Hoping to find some taco meat this weekend!  At least it wasn’t -26F today like it was up North!  ;D

Thanks guys, it wasn’t taco meat, but as Tim said, I lived up to my namesake.  Shaun’s spot, so I can’t take all the credit.  He got a nice one there today, too…  ;D

Flight was canceled due to “extreme weather” but it didn’t seem that bad.  It was -26F up there, but no snow/wind issues. Covid staffing problems etc.  Just a miserable winter season for air travel.   :P

These were actually from a public lake that just opened a few years ago.  I’ll tell you where it is so you can find the sunfish in there then tell us where the hell they are!

It was public! 
We had a trip booked at Woodland resort in Devil’s Lake.  Bummer, but still we missed out on -26F temps…so we kinda dodged a bullet.   ;)
