This cold should be great for the local Metro ice, that really took a hit last week.

Was 66F when we left Havasu friday morning.  1F when we got home at 4pm saturday.    Im waiting till Monday or most probably Tuesday!

Was just sitting here thinking surely some of the front rangers gotta be hitting some ice this weekend as cold as its been down there, take advantage of your 14 day ice season!  Warn the perch, im coming down this week!

I fished in the hills west of Boulder yesterday and it was brutal.  I really wanted to hit some local small waters today but can’t get myself to gear up and suffer.  I think I’m taking this Friday off.  Going to try to make the most out of next weekend.

I've got Tuesday targeted for someplace local.  Should be the  tail end of the cold spell and the high's supposed to be in the 40s.

Couldn’t resist and got out this afternoon around longmont.  3.5” of ice.  Slow but managed a few.  Lost a big bass after fighting it for a while.  Afraid to tighten up my drag too much with the cold temps.
