Heading to Havasu Friday for a week.  no boat, Family trip so no hard-core fishing. But it'll sure be fun slow-rollin some Keitechs in the warm sun!

But it is a scouting trip for later spring when the redears are really going!

From shore who knows?  Bluegill, sunfish, crappie bass I guess.

scouting camping areas, free if possible krist the place is surrounded by inhospitable desert!

Check out the state park and boat ramps.

Just got home from golfing in the desert
Sold a bunch of my ice gear and went south to golf and check out Scottsdale, Southern parts Nevada and Sonoma
Desert is awesome in the winter months
Screw Colorado in Winter lol

Been catching stripers from the fishing pier. Got 6 in about and hour. 14"ers is all. a boat would be nice but man it was 82F yesterday and right now its 56F. Fished last night till dark and it was 64F when I left.

it was 82F yesterday and right now its 56F.

Right now it's 16F with a high of 38F. Sheesh, some peoples problems  .  High of 10F here on Sunday, I'd stay another week if I were you!

Getting ready for another 76F day in paradise.   Got a 12" striper from in front of the resort last evening on a silver blade. only fished 20 minutes.
