I've never fished it, but I have heard that there actually are Pike in Wilson Pond, as well as Dexter and Berry (no surprise there I guess).  The guy at Harpo's mentioned it once and I'm sure I read it in an old IF&W report too.   Good luck if you're headed there!

Anybody know any good reports about the pond??????

I fish there as I have a camp on the shallow northern bay.  Ice fishing usually produces big bucketmouths, perch and pickerel but itis very hit an miss.  I have heard stories of big pike by those fishing next to me.  I fish it intensely in the summer and the only pike I have caught so far are in dexter pond next door.   Dexter is accessible as there is a culvert under mt pisgah road that a small boat can get through during soft water, and I expect the pike to use it as well.  Just haven't got one myself.

I would like to try the deeper spots in the south and middle parts of the lake but I drag my equipment under foot power and have been too lazy, so I just fish the 6-8 foot water in the north bay.  Brown trout can be found in the deeper water but again I have only caught them in summer.
