Talked to a guy at the NPS Black Canyon of the Gunnison today. He said there was some ice on the East side of the Lake city Bridge but it was only about 3". He also said it has been 42 degrees over there during the day with only 28 degrees at night which he said wasn't creating any more ice. SO it looks like it is going to be a while yet. I am heading over there tomorrow to fish from shore and will go down to the inlet and take a better look at it.
