I fished Tripp lake with friends less than a week ago and had 9" of ice.  I drove by today and though that I was seeing things. I was fishing South of this photo.

I don't know about that....Pop is reporting anywhere from 4 to 10 feet of open water along his shore line at Sabattus.

Yeah, thats the boat launch i believe. Where the station was for the derby on the southern beach was fine last weekend, thats where we got on.

Ice fishing over for me put all the gear in the ice shack and drained the auger.  However started working on the boat today for some early open water fishing

Im hoping to get out one more time tomorrow locally. Maybe I should go check the lake this afternoon, before I gewt out there at O'darkthirty tomorrow and discover the ice left without me.
