Of crappies. Bite was decent again this afternoon 330-5pm. Brought 10 or so up threw most back kept 4 nice ones. Had the whole lake to myself, nice and quiet.
Sunset was sweet but was too busy yelling RIIPPP to pay much attention.

Nice looking meal. What size range are your keepers? My crappie spot is stalled out at 9-10”.

The two top row fish are 10 and 10.25, the bottom two are 9s. I dont think ive ever got one bigger than 11 from this lake. Average size is 8-9.5", with 10" being what id consider big for elkhead. Good thing is theres a never ending supply of 8-9.5" fish and you rarely catch one smaller than 8. 8.5-9.5" crappies are perfect size for a taco. ;D
When I take my boat out in the spring and jig under the boat ill wade thru 30 or 40 crappies for half a dozen 10s, makes for a fun day non stop catching.
