Seems like everything is North, South, or East of Denver. I get a lot of my stuff from Cabelas and in a pinch Wal-Mart. Is there another option on the west side that I don't know of? Wish someone would build on the west side.

There is no other place to go besides BPS or Cabelas down the 70.... I will pick up small stuff, bait some lures etc from Big R in Evergreen....I used to go to Discount tackle on Sante Fe...but had a disappointing experience and never went back...For most of my stuff I order from FishUSA etc....
Now if u r looking at Fly Stuff...Blue Quill in Evergreen is well stocked...

After they shut down Sportsman's Warehouse on Wadsworth, the west side became SOL. Both Cabelas and BPS require packing a lunch from Golden. There a a number of small fly fishing shops within reach and another Sportsmans warehouse at I-25 and 84th...still a trek.
You might consider Cabelas on the Internet. Their delivery to the metro area generally is only a couple days by regular mail due to their hub in Sydney, Nebraska.

I buy most of my ice stuff on line...

I buy 90% of my stuff from cabelas but both of them are a hour drive. Was hoping there was a mom and pop place I didn't know about. I'm a long time cabelas guy but since the stores opened in Denver I'm fixing to never go back. Between the horrible customer service and the additional taxes they charge I've just about had it. Need something to come in on the west side.

Fishusa.Com is where it's at. Super fast shipping. They packed my last order on a Sunday as I placed the order Saturday night. It was a gift to myself for sitting through the gf friends wedding.

There's rumors that they are going to relocate the south Gander store. If they're smart they will put it somewhere on the west side. That sucked when they shut down the Sportsmans warehouse.

That would be a good move. They would dominate that whole side of town. They seem a little high on things but sometimes it nice to get in a brick n mortor store, pick something up and buy it. Don't get me wrong I have a prime account and order plenty of stuff online but I'm just nostalgic I guess.

rumor has it a smaller GM store C-470 and Bowles area.
