Taking it to the next level
You certainly have the spear-gun mastered, can you give any info on it? Is there some type of sighting device or is it more instinctive?
I was out in your neck of the woods 25-30 years ago. I worked in Pierre at KCCR radio. I watched a few guys dive in Oahe where they would bring up some massive walleye. Talk about interesting.
Thanks for sharing all your work! Much appreciated.

Man, you sure got some hogs. I love the darkhouse setup, sure beats staring down a hole. Yeah, I'd like to know more about the spear gun as well.

Oooops, Sorry to tell you that I'm not the master in this video. I'm still setting on a 5 gallon bucket with a 9 prong spear in hand. However I did pop a 42 inch 20 pounder on Christmas day. Honestly I'm too old and dumb to figure out all that techie stuff in that video.
There are some monster pike in this lake. A friend of mine speared one over 30 pounds many years ago in the Pierre, S. Dak. area.

Can you post the credits for the OP? Kinda credit where credit is due :-\

That was pretty cool. I never would have thought of using a spear-gun for spearing pike. Is that legal for Sturgeon too?
