I go soft water fishing on the lake and stay in my hut on shore, the owner of the property loves the company and lets us use the beach.  ;D

Working on the New and improved "Lip Ripper" in the spare time.

Youngest is heading off to college and I'm taking over the space to store and work on my Gear.

C'mon you guys! Get with it! DO SOMETHING!!! The goldenrod is up! It's almost winter! You are being overshadowed by a girl!!!!! (I'm playing the testosterone card, yes   >:D ).

I just bought the $2 toaster oven, powder painted the leadheads that Scotty (Stalker) made, and am getting off this computer in T minus 5 to tie (badly, I'm new at this) bucktail to them. Chartreuse and Purple, friends. Cusk killer. Watch for the Rover 1.5 with the stack-o-future-chowder in front. It shall be me, Guinea Cusk Slayer.  :icefish:

Not sure Jiggin. Gonna see them this weekend, I think. I spoke with him earlier, but "the boss" wasn't there to tell him what the weekend plan were. Even without help, it'd be fun to all be hanging out by the bobhouse plotting and planning! I'll call ya....something.  ;)

Okay, going to tie bucktails now. With lotsa head cement to make up for my lack of skill.

Jiggin, I'm back. My bucktail sux. Hopefully the fish won't notice. Weren't you gonna invite me over to learn to tie with you and Fishog? *batting eyelashes*.
I have my own stuff...I just need a MENtor.  ;)

We've gotta hit that crappie hole this year! The weather was unkind to us last time we tried.  :'(

Recently purchased a new pop up shelter (why one person needs three shelters is beyond me  lol)..
And my GF got me a great deal on two new / slightly used HT hardwater Explorer 500 tip ups and 2 ice rods at a yard sale (all for $3.00)  ;D ;D
What I would really like to try is the new LX7....

since I am a empty nester, I think I am going to build a hard side that will slide up and store on our swim raft. The kids won't be using it any more....

I'm waiting rather Impatiently for the Very next day after the Labor day Holiday is over, then I'm going out on the lake and see if I can't entice any Big Lakers with some deep water Jigging !!
