ice conditions on saginaw river?

how are the ice conditions on the river? im looking to go this weekend but wanna find out if its fishable first?

the ice is good through out the river. there is five to six inches in saginaw but it gets thicker goin up to bay city. i was just out on the river thursday at ojibowa park caught 7 and my dad caught 5 but they wee all small under 15 inches no keepers caught. good luck if yuh go.
