"Duffys" Anyone been there lately ?

Being a Chelsea native, was wondering if anyone has trecked back into Duffys (Gorman Lake) lately. Many years ago we used to do very well all year round. They blocked the road up and I haven been there in years.

I haven't fished that since I was a kid many years ago. Use to be good bass lake w/boat.

I remember taking lots of specs on open water there years ago. As well as good bass fishing. With the road being blocked up and hard to access, it could be a good spot that hasnt been touched in a while. It had good fish at one point.

Side note, my father is on backside of Sand Lake down by you, south end of lake.

Does your Father fish Sand lake as well  ?

There was a large group from Michigan - Sportsman.Com heading over there to try it out.

I grew up out in Waterloo and fished many of the lake out there. I always wanted to try Notten and that small lake behind  Polly's.

Dad doesnt fish much. And when he does its North Lake with me, mainly spring. Lake behind pollys is Pierce if I am not mistaken. I never been on it.  I saw a bunch of people were gettin together on Sand, but I didnt go. Im about to head out on mine now, gotta run and get minnows and some stuff from brothers. I will let ya know how I did. Seems lake is a bit busy today here. Hope its good.
