Houghton Lake

I was wondering if anyone could help me find some info and tricks for fishing for walleyes in houghton lake?  I have some maps.  If someone could point me in the right direction that would be helpful.  Thanks

i have always wanted to go to tip up town but i thought houghton lake was in the u.p. I looked on mapquest and it shows it in the upper lower peninsula. Is this correct? looks like its just east of cadillac?

That is correct. Just east of Cadillac. About a 3 hour drive from the Metro Detroit area.

Houghton is in the U.P.Houghton lake is in the lower East of cadilac.          Ron
