Any rod that is not in my hands, is sitting in a jawjacker. I have lost my share of rods down the hole in my 65 years of ice fishing. It costs a fair amount to buy a few jawjackers but one at a time is not too bad. I don't do anything fast anymore so no chance of catching a rod before it disappears down the hole.
