I did pick a couple up.  Bloodworms seem to be a good bait, but not sure how that long tails looks in water.  I may put one on tonight & see how I can work it in the slop sink.  I think those tails look good, but do they work? ???

I looked at the Northland baits this year and like the jig heads but none of the plastic/rubber bodied baits. I like to be able to change this up, and the jig heads are more versitile.

Buy the Northland jig-head lure you like and change out the body to one you like.
Like any jig-head lure, bodies can be anything you prefer to use.

It is not so much other plastics as it is tipping it with what ever is working that day. I would rather use Berkely honeyworms or Gulp on my jighead, then the bodies provided. I also like the little atom nuggies as a tip. If going for something a little larger..perch or crappie, I would use a minnow head or a wack of maggots/waxies..

It is nothing againts the quality of the product, i just find purchasing bare jigs over platic bodied jigs gives you more versatility. The new northland heads look great, but I dont think I will be picking up any of the bodied baits...unless they are like CJ&S where you can load up on replacment bodies in differnt sizes and colours.
