slab seeker

I just got a zebco slab seeker, anyone have one and what do you think? the thing for setting your depth is cool.

i just googled it and i read about the reel on bass pro shops site.sounds kind of interesting.especially if you are using electronics and the fish are suspended after you caught one and set your depth that would be great.for the price at bass pro $8.88.i might try one myself.

Remember, you get what you pay for, so dont complain when you find out how bad a reel you bought. I bought one 3 years ago. Didn't last 4 trips before the pin wouldnt hold in place. And they dont hold a lot of line. And casting... good luck with the open face.

My sister left the price tag on and it was around $30 CDN, I had never seen one before, I'll have to put it to the test.

there are a few posts on this reel, I have been looking at one for my father in law, but when they put it in my hand I was not happy with the size and or quality so I put it back, they are about $30

I tried the rod yesterday, it is alittle to heavy for slabs it could be okay for jumbos.

I didn't like the button on the spinning reel combo that I put hands on.  Fairly hard to move the pins and it would be impossible with gloves on.

I let my brother use the rod last Saturday for perch, the bite was lite and the rod was alittle to stiff to feel the nibbles.
