If your running out of spikes fishing then obviously you need to bring more out with you :)

bluegills though liek to swim around and pick inverts off of  weeds, they also feed on mico-organisms in the water, and may feed on the ocassinal minnow or crayfish

keep in mind bluegill and perch liek the same structure- sometimes smaller baits doesnt entice the perch but you get smaller bluegill- got big like a sweedish pimples with a wet fly on it, make a 3 in leader

I seem to have better luck using beemoth than spikes. They are a little bigger , maybe that makes a differance at times.

Try putting a few zoeplankton on your hook ::)  Just kidding.  These are microscopic
organisms and bluegills main forage.  Corn Borrers, wigglers, mousies, wax worms,
spikes, and small minnows in that order.

I have an idea...first SLOW DOWN when you are typing.  Its awefully hard for me to understand your writing.  Re-read your posts after you write them, and make use of the spell check function (the button just to the right of the 'post' button).  Sometimes I don't even understand the words I write...but spell check picks it up every time.

I have had some success with the trout/pan fish worms like you find at Wal Mart.  Put them on a small jighead and let the worm do all the work.  Just remember to keep a lively worm.  It doesn't always work but sometimes they'll hit that when they don't seem to want anything else.
