To the guy who ended up with my new Milwaukee/Kdrill (if you are on here) I hope you enjoy it, it was brand new and really nice.  Honestly I hope you hurt yourself with it.  Nothing $400 can't replace but I really don't understand why people have to take stuff that is not theirs.  Sad.

I guess I can be greatful they left the 2500 livescope in my sled.

Dang, sorry to hear that.  Did they take it right from your sled?  I had a guy wander off with my lazer one time, but he was mistaken that it was his.

Yes it was in my sled.  Never cut a hole with it tonight.  All the holes were open and I just fished open holes.

you mean while you were fishing a guy walked up and took your stuff on crooked?  wth?  were you in a shanty or something?  that really sucks man!  what a basshole!  lots of trashy folks out there these days.  gets worse every year it seems too.  sorry for your loss man.  makes you wish google earth was in real time video and recorded so you could track them down!  then you could defund the police.  ;D  JoKe people lol

Had three young gentlemen eyeing my sled the other night as they walked off the ice. They made a nice detour toward my stuff when I had my back turned dealing with a tipup. As soon as I turned around they changed course and went to their bikes... This was in Lagrange County.

Good news, my auger was found in the parking lot last night.  Headed up to be reunited with it in the morning!  Thank you to the gentleman who found it and to Fred for reaching out to me.

Must have fallen out.  I didn't use it on the ice due to the temp and all the open holes.  All I know is it was in my sled when I went on and wasn't when I came off.  I would have considered it falling out about anywhere else I fish but it's such a short and flat walk there, I felt that was a remote possibility.   Meeting them on the lake in the morning to pick it up.

I found a couple of rods of reels on the trail at GSP a few years back, actually I was able to track them off this site. It's a good feeling to be able to return the gear.

Ice was still fairly good there today.  I didn't take an official measurement but I would guess about 3" of snow ice and about 4 or 5" of fairly clear stuff.  Was still pretty firm on top when I walked off around 11am

everything at turkey was tightened up and slippery.  bite sucked though.

That sucky bite has been going around!  Maybe they are going to jump in the boat when the ice leaves?!
