Twin Lakes area
« on: Dec 06, 2017, 09:42 PM »
Hello all, quick question, the lakes down around Twin lakes(Gerald, Roland, Emily), do any of these have pike in them? I just moved up here and am an avid spearer. Trying to find some lakes that are a little bit clearer than Pike Bay. And as far as that goes is there anyone on here that spears that body of water?

Ended up fishing a small lake in this area today, about 3" of not so good ice and another 4" of slush on top. Caught a fair number of small gills, found 5 big enough to take for dinner.

The 6 Mile Lake he is referring to is on M-38 near the Houghton-Ontonagon county line. I've never caught anything with any size there.
2 other possible lakes in the area are Pike Lake and Sudden Lake. I don't know much about Pike Lake but I do know that Sudden has pike. At least small ones anyway.

Thanks for clarifying.  I'm from Escanaba, will probably be on LBDN this weekend.
