I am new to this web site as well as new to ice fishing.

I had the opportunity to go ice fishing for the first time last week in Manitoba and loved it!

I am from Vancouver and I have just moved to Calgary and was wondering if anyone can help me with where to go around Calgary (directions) and if there is a good store that can help a begginer out as far as equipment.

newfisherman your best bet would be to go to thefishin hole in calgary or wholesalesports there both very good sporting store and im sure they would send u in the right way.

Another westerner moves to the land of oppurtunity.
No ice in Vancouver heh newfisherman. It will take a bit for the webs between your toes to receed. Enjoy the ice. ;)
