I don't know about the trout, but do you think the ice is still safe up there after the last couple days?  I got out once up there a couple weeks ago and got a few smelt and a few perch, no trout.  Have you been up in the north end or by the launch?

i went on the boat launch but walked north.i used a plank on sat so i doubt if theres ice on the lake.hopefully in a coulple of weekes.

I love fishing Colebrook either frozen or open, I'll wait at least a few weeks before i go out on that place temps are looking really good in the coming weeks. Think they may have stocked after that big flood last year? :)
