44 inch pike, fought on rod, caught while fishing walleye

Well it happened again.  While fishing in my favourite walleye hole a massive pike hit like a freight train.  The pike measured out at 44 inches with a 22 inch girth, no scale available but anywhere 27-32#s could be reasonable i think.  If you remember my last video, this time I was prepared using a 10 inch hole instead of the 4 inch hole the last time.

I was fishing with an HT rod and reel combo, using 4lb test.  The lure was a perch coloured chubby darter which I highly recommend.  The fish made about 5 very solid runs with one extremely big run where he nearly stripped my entire spool.  I had to quickly tighten the drag and risk losing the fish.  When I got the beast up it had mud coated on its lower jaw.  Looked pretty scary when he came out of the hole.  The fish in the photo with the pike is a 15 inch walleye.
