WYOMING scenery :)
« on: Feb 26, 2011, 12:26 PM »
Took these a couple weeks ago. There is some open water where the fog is rising up. I wish I would've been there RIGHT AT sunrise and I bet my pics would've turned out even better. Regardless I think I camptured some good ones. Enjoy ;)

I like it with the sun but think how sweet it would be with it setting! GOOD JOB.

I'm with you! Sun setting would be great. I drug all my stuff out on the lake, looked behind me and went...MY GOD THAT'S PRETTY. Luckily I had my digital camera...nothing fancy but did the job. Kickin' myself for not being there as the sun coming as, as I bet the sun coming through that little fog bank and onto the ice would've looked awesome. Oh well, still got a couple great shots I think.

A couple pics from the Gorge:

This second one was kind of fun...the sun was hitting the bluff, but not quite on the ice yet...definitely a beautiful time of the day:

I got a week there as reward for a large paver patio and walls i did on his house.  He brought me a Polaris to ride and told me where the lakes and rivers were and i was off.   I fished all the creeks, but not the Green (?) because i was live baiting.  I spent a few days on Half Moon as well.  That lake is plumb full of hungry trout.  (and the bank...bears  ::))

He paid for steak every night, i brought home enough for us to eat it along side it.   :'(

Wake up in the morning and antelope are in the back yard and moose are in the river.  Although you cant see it the green is right behind me.  You can however see the ground rising up from it on the other side.  To top it off, the guy is a Falconer.  We rode from Lafayette to basically Cora/Pinedale with a Finnish Goshawk on the dash of the Suburban.  BTW..... Hawks dont wear diapers.

Interesting trip.

Wow...yes i live right on the Green River so i know where all these spots are you're fishing. Sounds like a fun time! I get to live that kind of lifestyle all the time :). Just takes money to get there haha.

Go ahead and stay in iceville....wherever that is. I'm thinking Wyoming has the least amount of smog as anywhere else in the U.S. I've seen smoke from the plants but never in my life have even seen what I would call "smog".
